Medical Visualisation is the imaging of anatomy for medical purposes, either for public education and outreach or to optimise the education of Medical Students, Doctors or Healthcare professionals.
New and emerging interactive technologies like 3D models, gamification, VR and AR have proven to be effective, empathetic and fun ways to communicate and educate complex ideas and concepts.
A 3D model of the female pelvic bone, taken from a patient MRI data set. Converted into a 3D model via Slicer, software.
